Writing this as a mashup of ideas on Krishna Janmashtami2024 (26-Aug) to explore Why Krishna (as Hero-Template 4Friendship, Love, Freedom, Justice-seekers, Mentoring, Creativity, Community & Conflict-Resolution, Cosmic-Continuity) and helpful Krishna-mitras (Arjuna, Radha, Rukmini, Satyabhama, Devaki, Yashodara, Vasudev-Nanda, Balaram, Sudhama, Pandavas (5-SubHeros) and more Positive Characters in the Journey) fought the struggles in  Kalinga-Kamsa-Vadana & Kurukshetra-War and Spoke the Geeta for Wisdom of Life-Warriors?.

We can see most of  the Character Personality Archetypes in the Mahabharata in real lives too. Who play roles of “Helpers, Holders, Handlers, Hoarders, Charmers, Harmers and Healers. The Challenge is to see and identify who is who? as they role-play in Homes, in Families, in communities, in offices, in cults & cultures and also national & global politics.

Ultimate Heroes-Test is Whether the person-people Promote Helping_Culture or Harming_Cults. Whether the Hero Promotes More Virtues and Less Vices in self & others. Eg. JK Krishnamurthi and Osho,  Ghengis Khan Vs Rumi. Kalam and Kasab…

Krishnayana’s Journey Plot thickens From Mathura(UP) to Brindavan to Indraprastha(Delhi) to Hastinapura to Kurukshetra & concludes in Dwaraka(Gujarat). The Documentor or Writer is Vyasa from Nepal. It spreads West-East Stretch across the Indian Continent from Afghanistan-Gandhara to Manipura in it. This post expresses that there is some lessons of life more for the Human-Spirit(Idea-Ideals) and less about the Group-Rituality(Idol-Image).

Mahabharata as a Templates to understand life-scenes, tendencies & probabilities through 4 Pair-protagonists life, Rama-Hanuman, Krishna-Arjuna, Socrates-Plato, Alexander-Aristole, & Buddha-Ananda, also John-Jesus-Peter, Chanakya-Chandragupta, Gurunanak-GuruAngad, Gandhi-JP Narayan etal.  in movies its reflected as  Neo-Morpheus (Matrix), Harry-Hagrid-Dumbledore (Harry Potter Series). It’s to attract people away from the harmful, PanchaKleshas or Five Evils or Awagunas,  Indra’s (Anger), Kamsa (Villain-Tyrant King driven by Fear), Dhuryodana (Aggressive-greedy peer), Shakuni (Conspiring-Plotting-Cunnning Elder) & Dhushasana (Blind-Lust). Kama, Krodha, Moha, Mada & Matsarya.

This is a post taking a Pragmatistic view of ideas & concepts in Indic-Philosophy Bhagavadam, Mahabharata & Gita about Individuality, Familiality, Community, Country &  Cosmos…I.e  Humanity’s relativity with Universality (Space), Eternity (Time) & Spirituality(Constitutionality).. With Places, Periods, Peoples, in a flow of Events, Scenes, Plots, Characters, & Circumstances played out as a myriad of complex interactions. it’s the Ultimate Movie like the Marvel universe.

Its Information can inform population about relevance of relations, reference to creations & Reverance to excellence.

So Many Stories and Diversity of Characters and Interaction makes this very colorful and probable Human Interactions (Minus the Supernatural hyperbole Exaggeration that could me metaphorical)..  Krishna, Arjuna, Yudhistra-Dhritarastra, Kunti-Gandhari, Bhisma-Drona, Karna-Sudhama,

1. Concept Of Dharma-Karma-Vikarma. (Duty-Actions-Reactions).

2. Concepts of Real live Human relationships (Parents, Children, Siblings, Friends, Relatives, Aspirations, Positions, Occupations.. etc). Jesus the carpenter, Krishna the Cowherd, Buddha the prince,  these are seen across all imaginations and realities.

3. Mode of Narrative is Begining, Middle and an end.

4. There are Heros, Villians, Witnesses & Allies.

5. There is a scene of pleasure, pain or suffering as plot thickens, a journey to conflict a war and return to pleasure or balance or acceptance.

6. There is past feelings, histories contexts, injustices, an impending prophecy, attempts to realize collective aspiration through the hero or heroines life and actions.

7. There is an expression and desire for a needed relief,  fulfillment of needs of the age, that is embodied, entrusted and envisioned in the available options of the present moment.

8. Image a Scene in Movie when the lights are slowly turned off(eclipse) and the shadows takeover witg thunder-lightning and storms strikes, later the storm passes and There is a sunrise across a blue sky bright new day. Thus the problem of maya, illusions of villains, hold back the human life and Societies, then there is a need for a bright son to shine across the bright blue sky.  that is the Guru(Remover of darkness) it has come in form of Krishna, during Times of Kamsa, Dhushasana (Mal-administration), Dhritarastra(Blind King) & Dhuryodana(Unjust Prince). You may see this played across nations too in Ravana-megnad, Saddam Hussain-sons, Indra Gandhi-sons Story also in Current politics.. Do see the pattern repeats itself.

9. Thus Mahabharata (National Politics) to Grihabharata(Family Politics).. this is same journey of people in life from the travails of initial days, to trials of mid life crisis, to overcoming our nemisises & establishing good just and free communities & societies.

10. Thus August being Indian Freedom Month, and Krishna Janmashtami (Birth of Krishna, is the original hero predates like Mitra, Jesus, Buddha, Gandhi, MLK, Lincoln, or Bose or Neo, Ambedkar or Bahubali) being celebrated across the nations.. is a sense of Hope, Freedom, Justice and Trust-Faith in the Systems. That If the system declines and destroys humanity, there will be course correction by an entity inherently from the system needs to raise against Darkness and show some light of Relief across the Illusions & Oppression.

My request to people is to spread love, joy and friendship all ideals of Krishna and his likes who stand for peace, partnerships and prosperity of the self, family and society and Humanity.
