What’s the Problem with Modern Men?.
Earlier Men born before 80s & 70s had a community nurturing environment with multiple siblings at home and surroundings. Hence their social education was personal and they had a ready brotherhood from beginning of their boyhood.
If we observe our Dads or Uncle’s life they had strong masculine friendships that complemented and Cooperated more all through life. the focus was close relationships, family and work.
The expectations on 19th century men as earlier ages from their joint family parents and grandparents-family was balanced between multiple kids and it was for their kids to be supported by joint-family members to study, work, find family-friendly bride, marry and extend their family and live their lives happily ever after.
The current modern 21st century nuclear family parents are resourceful with multiple degrees, multiple income and salaries but they lack the human resource and support from grandparents and extended family members also in the surrounding Neighbhourhoods are more competitive than complementative.. Hence the 21st Century boys and Men are more isolated and individualized with lesser nurturing and brothering social circles. (Except in few cases of Solidarity Community Support).
Thus Boys and men who need the brotherhood of good positive men and masculine role models are missing instead there is mens bonding over negative addictions like Bars, drugs and Drinking.
