This msg tries to bring in National Integrity with food by integrating Dosa and Chapathi in one food. This is both a discovery and an invention of sorts. #Culinary-Experimentations, once we created the National Flag Dosa and Chips too..
A unique Wheat-Millet Dosa/ GRP and Gowri.
This is an experimentative outcome of my mom’s unique recipe (Inherited from Grandma-Subbalakshmi) and my creative cooking procedures/techniques (Inherited & Innovated from my parents too).
Option 1:
Ingredients to Wheat-Dosa 2.0:
1. 2 Cups Wheat flour,
2. 1 cup Jowar flour,
3. Water to batter
4. Salt to taste,
5. 1 tablespoon cooking oil.
Cooking time: 10 Mins
Tools: Mixing Bowl, Cooking Pan, Sambar-Lable, Dosa-FlatSpoon, Iron Tava-Pan.
Procedure:
1. Mix all above ingredients to get consistency of Dosa batter (not liquidy like soup or Hard like dough). It should be like idli-dosa batter.
2. Keep pan over fire to heat.
3. Pour and spread the batter like dosa first, then when its bottom is cooking even out the top with ladle. One side becomes porous like a Dosa.
Dosa like Side.A
4. When semi cooked turn the Dosa and make it roasted it will look dry and brown like a Phulka Chapathi.
Chapathi like side.B
5. So effectively one side looks like Dosa with circular pattern and other looks like Chapathi with brown patches.
Option:2 to add, coriander, green chili or bay leaf Onions to look like Utthapam and Paratha (Utha-paratha), can try with other wheat and millets (Ragi, Bajra.. etc)..
Trick used here is roast one side dry To make Dosa look like Chapathi, the Jowar helps with crispiness.
Make your Dearones guess the too sides whether its dosa or Chapathi. It’s both it’s a Dosapthi.
