For eg.. traditional dresses, secular fests , Namaste or Touching feet of Parents elders is a gender neutral cultural tradition/practice, Interpersonal, Family secular non religious ethnic-Traditions may help in harmonizing relationships.
while doing yagna, namaz, prayers pooja etc in religious buildings front of idols or towards a direction , animal sacrifices or with priests.. etc is a Religious tradition.. this needs to be opposed and will help in secularizing, rationalizing society
