Who is the Father of Indian Nation? MK Gandhi.

Who is Father of Science?.. Who is Father of Democracy?.. There are many great fathers who we have not acknowledged yet and have received their grace through ages. Why does society carry the name of father to child? why is it important to know who fathered the child?
