4. Wear Masks and avoid eating open outside food in cities for 2-5 days of diwali. You can prevent cancer by reducing ur inhalation & ingestion of toxins from the fire crackers deposited as layer on the city and citizens or worse in nearby vegetable farms.
5. During Take bath twice a day, Wash ur hands often, and keep the doors and windows closed or semi open. As smoke can get into ur home and lungs and on skin.
6. Take Special Care of Allergic prone people, Asthmatic, and weak senior citizens and kids also traumatized exodus seeking pets or Stressed Urban Animals, Birds & Beneficial Insects.
7. Instead of burning gunpowder, Toxic Metals, Paper and Plastic in dumma, one can do pradana dana of food, lamp, candles or Gyana Dana of books for same or equal amount of money. This will help light little young minds like lamps.

The unidentified source of video is very doubtful of its authenticity and authority. Though it has truths in its content, the intent and extent to which its targeting of Indian-cultural practices is to be noted. Having said that it time for deep introspection of modern excesses in the name of religious culture.. this is in general.. can religious practices be open to rational scientific reviews and can they be made better and less toxic and more careful towards humanity and nature.
It’s in our Spiritual nature these principles of Loka Samastha sukhino Bhavanthu. I see there is a contradiction in terms of lifecycles of firecrackers and their abuse. I would like to see a greener cleaner and more meaningful religious celebrations allover the Lokas.
