I think the Chinese way to validate their CKS like our IKS. Is through their philosophy of Rationality, Science, Communism & familial piety.. it had an Indian reviewer in residence..
Whereas in India there seems to be very few external factors(foreigners) which got positively integrated for more Scientifying the IKS..
Do we know anyone equivalent of Bodhidharma who contributed for Indian Systems living in India.. travellers came and learnt and became scholars in Nalanda & Taxashila left none stayed back. Nor did any Indian travellers book like Of Marco polo, Fahian, megathenes. Survive.. the point is India was explored more than India explored and learnt from other civilizations as per documentations. Where some gems burnt down from Indian libraries no Idea?..
Few recent ones foreigners who contributed to Indian KS we see were Morris Travers, Ar. Laurie Baker, HPB, mirra alfassa.. etc.. we needed to recruit more foreign scientist to join Indian academia to reverse India’s brain drain. The effect of which we maybe seeing now. Chinese Research is high due to the returning scholars learning and giving back to China.. this is not political comparison.. but a philosophical perspective of how personal philosophy effects the way things and society move. One place we have a dichotomy polarizing Idealogies..where one place their systemic more alignment with rational scientific principles & basis vs irrational biases.
