1. The Game of Names.
Why does one Gender change its name after marriage to get identified to its partners family-name while the other gender doesnt? Are there any rationality or scientific advantage or benefit for this nomenclature practice/Social Custom? Or is it unnecessary cultural practice or is there some Rationale to give the child its father’s name or father’s family nomenclature? What about IVF Single Parent Kids.. With unknown Fathers gene, can they unknowingly have incestuous maritals after they grow with other spouse born of same sperm donor?.

I too was asked what’s my pura Naam in a Central National Institution.. this was first cultural shock experienced by a person without a privileged surname.
There are 2 name formats we can see in India..( If More Human Nomenclature plz Share). Like Homo Sapiens.
1. Casteist Name Format
PersonName+Midname+ CasteySurname.. eg. Sai-Deepak Iyer.
2. Decastified Name Format.
Person name+ FatherName+Place Name.or Initials
Eg. J. SaiDeepak Mysuru

Some time ago my college certificate was given as Nithi M.
M is my father name!.
I think this works much better than casty-religiony Identifiable names. Eg Breddy, Setti, Kurma, Nodi…etc
The general way we introduce in South mostly in is with just basic Name with initials eg.. J. Saideepak, S. Jaishankar, or with Fathers name mjr. Sandeep Unnikrishnan.
Just ask randomly anyone in neighbhourhood, office or college. We just say our basic-name also look into the profile name.. few may use initials upon asking what’s ur name..
Eg Conversation with an egalitarian.
Indian1: Hi bro my name is Sandeep Kumar Sharma, what’s yours?
Egalitarian1: Hi Sandeep my name is Pradeep.
I2: Pradeep ok, what’s ur PuRa naam, your full name?
E2: my name is Pradeep. J.
I3: What is the initual ‘J’ in your name.. (Indian trying to get casty surname from the egalitarian).

I4: what’s your surname or family name? What’s in your certificates?
E4: my certificates is Pradeep J only, in passport its Pradeep Janikiram only..

Eg. MGR(CM Tamizh Nadu), HD Kumaraswamy Ex CM of Karnataka (he has dropped caste name which his dad had kept) also for his son Nikhil Kumaraswamy.. note Actor Puneet Rajkumar too(Name+Fathers name) no reference to Casty-Surnames etc..
T.N is one state in India which has done away with Castic_Identification.. to Decastify Public places.
In North also we see this with Lal Bahadur Bharatiya.
Politics of Names.
Do Voters Go by Names? Gandhi, Modi, Gowda, Yadav, etc.. Selection by *names or surnames* lead to Voters Bias, that’s what is Unscientific_Politics 4.0..
As wise-electors We look not at the name but at *the Game* or Behaviour and *Character of the Candidate*..
